A Rememberable Christmas


Our church holds celebration party on Christmas every year, and this year is no exception. We want to give outdoor dramatic performances. It’s about a biographical sketch of Jesus, healing, believe, life changes, love… We started to prepare since August, and we rehearse very hard on Saturday and Sunday every week. There were about 60 people participating in the performance, including adults and children.

This is an important day, December 16th is our premiere. We started building the stage in the morning, when the stage was nearly finished, suddenly, it’s raining and gusty wind began to blow. Next, it rained off and on all day, and we prayed, worked and performed in the rains. When the spotlight illuminate the stage, it's so wonderful. Although it continued raining, the performance had to go on. This is a rememberable Christmas.

God hath not promised skies always blue,

Flower-strewn pathways all our lives through:

God hath not promised sun without rain,

Joy without sorrow, peace without pain.

But God hath promised strength for the day,

Rest for the labor, light for the way,

Grace for the trials, help from above,

Unfailing sympathy, undying love.

My Hometown

I grew up in the country- Hunei Township, it's an ordinary placein the Kaohsiung County. It has an old name- Meadow End. So you can guess that it's a small town in the countryside. There are many fields around of my county. Most of the fields grow rice and you can see different scenes in four season.

This is a very quiet place without noise of cars. You always wake up from the sound of birds singing. When the spring comes you can hear the croaking of frogs all night, like symphony of nature.

I married 5 years ago, so I live in Tainan now. I always go back to my hometown, twice a week. My husband likes this small town, too. We hope we can build our house here one day.

Describing myself

I am average build and got black straight hair. My hair is thick and hard, so my classmate said: your hair is like steel wire when the wind is blowing it’s not moving. I don’t have special feature, but I always smile. My friend asked me: why are you always happy? I told them because I am a princess, and they are surprised. I say: I am a Christian, God is my father in heaven so I am a princess.

I am a artistic person, I like all beautiful things. For example, flower arranging, interior design, fashion, dream, etc. I almost dream every day and I remember it very clear. I often have beautiful thing in my dream, I can’t describe it but I can imagine what are the magical heaven. I like creative lifestyle so I don’t like regulations and fixed rules.
