My ideal house in dream

I am engaged in the architectural design for 10 years. I really want to have a house and design it by myself. That needs a lot of money and I can't make it. But I can plan and dream about it first at all. That's my ideal house in dream－ big garden full of plants and trees, ordinary outward appearance, interior design is full of imagination and its kitchen connects to garden.

A big garden, that's very important. Because my mother has always loved gardening is good at planting orchids, I believe she is a good gardener. This is a good place that we will hold family party here. Maybe we can plant some vegetable to eat, that's natural and healthy. I like to walk on land without wearing shoes. Walking barefoot on earth is wonderful. It reminds me all the best memories of the childhood.

I hope we can have a beautiful garden but the house outward appearance is just only ordinary. I thought a house like a person, if you care more about the appearance then what is inside, you will lead your life worrying about how people see you and judge you. Then you will have no freedom. Besides, in recent years, the society security deteriorates, so I think it is safer to have a ordinary-looking house.

For me, the house outward appearance can be ordinary but the indoor space must be excellent. I don’t like traditional design. Dining room is the most important space because a family eating together is wonderful. So the dining room must be big and have a French window so people can see the view outside. Through the door, people can eat dinner or BBQ in garden. I hope living room is a comfortable space to read and listen to music. My bad room is on second floor.
